Start Outlook Express.
Left Click on Tools.
Left Click on Accounts...
Left Click on the Mail tab.
Left Click on the Add button.
Left Click on Mail...
Type in your Name or Userid in the Display name:
box.
Left Click on the Next button.
Type your userid@AboutCalgary.net in the E-mail address:
box.
Example: myuserid@AboutCalgary.net
Left Click on the Next button.
My incoming mail server is a POP3 server.
Type in mail.AboutCalgary.net for Incoming and smtp.AboutCalgary.net for Outgoing
mail
Left Click on the Next button.
Log on using: must be checked as it is in the image
below
Type in your userid in POP account name: box.
Type in your password in the Password:
box.
Left Click on the Next button.
A friendly Name... Example: AboutCalgary.net
Left Click on the Next button.
Left Click on Connect using my phone line
Left Click on the Next button.
Left Click on Use an existing dial-up connection
Left Click on the Next button.
Left Click on the Finish button.
Left Click on the Next button.
You should now have the Internet Accounts dialog
box displayed now,
it should look like the image below.
Left Click on the Close button.
You will now be able to send and receive internet E-Mail messages with M.S. Outlook Express.
Note: You MUST be connected to the internet to send
and receive E-Mail messages.
